Terms
These are the terms for using Wardi. They’re written to be read. By using Wardi, you agree to them.
What Wardi is
Wardi adds up what you own, takes away what you owe, and keeps the total up to date. It’s made by Mohamed Fadel in Cairo, Egypt (“we”).
What Wardi isn’t
- Not a bank or a broker. Wardi never holds, moves or invests your money, and never places a trade.
- Not financial advice. Everything Wardi shows you, including answers in Ask, describes your situation and the markets. None of it is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything. Decisions about your money are yours; for advice, talk to a licensed professional.
The numbers
Wardi’s figures are only as good as what goes into them. Values you enter are your own estimates. Prices and exchange rates come from third-party services, may be delayed, and can occasionally be wrong or missing; when one is missing, Wardi says so rather than guessing. Ask is written by an AI model and can make mistakes. Check anything that matters before relying on it.
Your account
You need to be 18 or older to use Wardi. Keep your Apple or Google account, and your phone, secure: anyone who can get into them can get into Wardi. Tell us at hello@wardi.co if you think someone else has accessed your account.
Your information
What you add to Wardi is yours. You let us store and process it only to run Wardi for you, as described in our privacy policy. You can delete it, or your whole account, whenever you like.
Fair use
Please don’t misuse Wardi: don’t try to get into other people’s data, overload or attack the service, scrape it, reverse-engineer it, or use it for anything unlawful. We may limit how often you can ask questions so Ask stays available for everyone.
Changes and availability
Wardi is new and still changing. We may add, change or remove features, and the service may sometimes be unavailable. We may stop offering Wardi; if we do, we’ll give you notice and a way to get your data out. Some features may become paid in future; we’ll always tell you the price before you’re charged, and payments will go through Apple.
Ending things
You can stop using Wardi and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and will tell you why unless the law stops us.
Responsibility
Wardi is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we don’t promise that it will always be accurate, complete or available, and we aren’t responsible for decisions you make, or losses you suffer, based on what it shows. Nothing in these terms limits responsibilities that the law doesn’t allow us to limit, or your rights as a consumer where you live.
Apple
If you downloaded Wardi from the App Store, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. These terms are between you and us, not Apple, and Apple isn’t responsible for Wardi or its support.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Egypt, without taking away any protection the laws of your own country give you. If we disagree about something, write to us first; most things can be sorted out that way.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we’ll update the date at the top, and tell you in the app or by email before a significant change takes effect.
